Before reporting a crash, please could you make sure you have updated to the latest version of Ampify Studio, as you may be using a previous version containing bugs that we have since fixed.
You can check for updates by going to:
Windows users
- Click Tools (In the toolbar)
- Settings
- General
- Check now
Mac Users
- Click Ampify Studio (In the toolbar)
- Preferences
- General
- Check Now
If you are on the latest version and are still experiencing the same issue; In order for us to address any issues that may be causing Ampify Studio to crash, we would need to see a crash log. When a crash occurs, a crash log is stored in the Ampify Studio program files.
Windows users
You can find the crash logs by going to:
- Windows search bar
- Paste the following into the search box:
%APPDATA%\ampify - This will navigate you to a folder. Select everything in that folder and right-click it
- click Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder
- This will create a '.zip' file
Mac Users
You can find the crash logs by going to:
- Finder
- From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose Go -> Go To Folder
- Paste the following into the search box
~/Library/Logs/Ampify/ - This will navigate you to a folder. Select everything in that folder, right-click and choose Compress items.
- This will create an 'Archive.zip' file
