To get the best out of using MIDI hardware to control Ampify apps, we recommend using Novation Hardware; instrument and effect parameters within Groovebox and the Launchpad app are not supported with other MIDI controllers. Currently, there is no way to manually map MIDI to a hardware controller in our apps.
An example of controlling instrument and effect parameters with a Novation MIDI controller has been demonstrated in the Novation Launchkey Mini [MK3] video below.
The table below shows which Novation hardware is fully supported in Groovebox and the Launchpad app, for both iPad and iPhone (Blocs Wave does not support any hardware).
